Dulwich College (Singapore) is an International school with British Independent school ethos and values, it draws upon 400 years of excellence and tradition from Dulwich College. Occupying a five-hectare site in Bukit Batok, Dulwich College has state-of-the-art facilities and classrooms on a purpose built campus.
We designed, supplied, tested and commissioned an addressable VESDA-E VEA system for the DUCKS classrooms occupying three floors in Year 2015. This solution provided Interruption-free business operation with centralised testing and maintenance to the client.  The VESDA-E VEA detectors combine VESDA reliability and early warning smoke detection with pinpoint addressability and a variety of annunciation options that truly surpass traditional spot detectors.
Centralized test and maintenance feature in VEA reduces service time by up to 90% and saves up to 60% in TCO.  Unlike spot type detectors, troubleshooting does not require the technicians to enter the classrooms anymore. Addressability of Alarm at each classroom was clearly annunciates on the VSM4 graphics workstation which made it possible for the ERT team to respond quickly. VESDANET integration using the current CCTV network also greatly reduced the project cost.

Aurora EOS Warehouse is a 2-Storey Warehouse structures within Singapore Butyl and Adhesion (SBA) project completed in Year 2017. Fire loads in warehouses are increasing and changing on a daily basis as stock movements increase to support business operation, all of which has a significant financial and economic value, often in several millions of dollars. Conventional detection technologies like Spot type Smoke detectors will have difficulty in detecting the smoke as the smoke is heavily diluted due to the high ceiling extending upto 12 meters. They are also considered unsuitable if deployed at such heights.
16 Nos of VESDA-E VEU detectors have been designed, supplied, tested and commissioned by our team for this project, integrating it with the Warehouse Smoke Control System. VEU offers linear pipe lengths up to 400 m and branched pipe networks up to 600m in this project. Longer pipe runs extend detector coverage, reducing the number of detectors required to protect a single fire zone in the warehouse facility. Installing fewer detectors results in reduced power requirements (PSU and batteries), I/O modules, and less cabling and labour. Therefore, a reduced installation cost resulting in tangible and significant cost savings of up to 40% in comparison to other ASD products.
As the detectors were mounted at accessible height, need of access to the ceiling for service and maintenance will no longer be required. This arrangement has completely eliminated the risk for working at height which in terms go in line with the Workplace Safety and Health (Risk Management) Regulations. Maintenance cost are also greatly reduced since eliminating the cost of hiring access equipment (i.e. scissor lifts or boom lift) and additional labour that would otherwise be required if maintenance were conducted at ceiling height.
During the initial design stage, we have also identified that some levels of airborne dust particles may be present in this warehouse environment. VEU’s robust dust rejection minimizes nuisance alarms in comparison to other ASD’s has thus been chosen to be the ideal solution. To improve the performance of the VEU in terms of extending the detector longevity and reducing maintenance frequency, an In-Line filter was being installed in line with every sampling pipe inlet to the detector.
We provided panel integration, design verification, testing and commissioning to the customer. Our scope of project included an integrated fire alarm, aspirating smoke detection system and voice evacuation system that was using fully UL listed components. Using an integrated system reduced the number of cabling required between substations. Amplifiers were distributed among the buildings so the cabinet size at control room as smaller. A main backbone for two systems made it easier to have graphic workstations at each different control rooms.
We provided designing, panel integration, testing and commissioning for fire alarm system and remote controlled fire monitor control panel.
We upgraded the fire alarm system to a latest fire alarm system. We installed VIEW laser smoke detectors at electrical switch rooms that gave early warning to the client on any smouldering fires. We also supplied and installed a high pressure CO2 system for the HEAF system.

The National University of Singapore (NUS) is an autonomous research university in Singapore. Founded in 1905 as a medical college, it is the oldest institute of higher learning (IHL) in Singapore, as well as the largest university in the country in terms of student enrolment and curriculum offered.
As the large campus with numerous building was having different brands for proprietary fire alarm system it was required to have a single backbone fire alarm system that will annunciate fire signals from all the buildings at various command centres spread across the campus. We was able to design and supply a fire alarm system that communicated through single mode fibre optic that annunciate the fire signals a three of the fire command centres at the campus.

As the fire risk involved in cleanroom support facilities are high the client required a early smoke detection system for their switch rooms. We have designed, supplied, tested and commissioned VESDA smoke detectors to the switch rooms. With its early detection capability it gives the client peace of mind.
With the plant aging it was required to upgrade the fire alarm system to a latest one as old parts became obsolete. With our technical expertise we was able to upgrade the fire alarm system to a latest one. Upgrading the panels for 4 building without downtime was a challenge that we had to overcome in this project.

ams opened a new plant at Tampines which includes cleanroom equipment and a facility for VCSEL and sensor manufacturing.
